Blaze not syncing

my new to me blaze can't get it set up correctly, eg counts steps during the nite

A warm welcome to the Community @sullenboy. Could you please be more specific about the inconvenience you have? In the meantime, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post to make your tracker sync with your account.

@sullenboy, I agree, if your tracker is counting steps, then it should be setup correctly. If it is not setup it will have the message of www.fitbit.com/setup on the face, that is of you haven't removed it from your account. 

 

As for steps at night, are we talking about 10, 20 or a thousand? 

Since the tracker is on the arm, it is very possible that the arm motions while sleeping may record a few steps.
