Blaze not syncing

Why is my Fitbit Blaze not compatible with the newer LG Phones, i.e. V20 and V30.  When, if ever, is Fitbit going to either upgrade the notification software or provide a work around for Android phones not listed?  Even the newest device, Fitbit Ionic, is not compatible with the LG V20 and LG V30.

The work around is to wait for Fitbit rewrite the driver's for the phone, or use a different device.

However many phones on the list are compatable but have not been fully rested by Fitbit.

Are you having problems?

Yes, I am definitely having problems.  My LG V20 will not sync with my Fitbit Blaze.  If you know a solution, please provide it

NONE of the Fitbit devices are compatible with the LG V20 and/or the LG V30.  Obviously, cell phones are going to continue to improve.  When is FITBIT going to improve their compatibility capabilities.  I am currently researching Garman, Movado, Samsung Gear Fit, MOOV NOW, TomTom Spark and Polar M430 as viable alternatives.

Hey there @charlesmcmillon, welcome to the Community, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself and @Rich_Laue for stopping by.

Our team is testing the compatibility of several phones and it can take a while for them to make the phones compatibles but you can keep an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update, your patience will be much appreciated. In the meantime, I recommend follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post.

Catch you later. Smiley Happy

Thanks for all the information everyone.  Unfortunately, FITBIT does not appear to prioritize addressing the needs of their customers.  Consequently, my family and I are gifting each other with various Garmin trackers.  Garmin's list of compatible smart phones is extensive, and, unlike FITBIT, they do prioritize the needs of their customers and address those needs in a timely manner.  Of course we will hold on to our current FITBIT devices, and if FITBIT ever gets around to updating their list of compatible smart phones we may return to using the FITBIT devices.  Thanks again.

I completely agree with you - I returned the Blaze I bought and am going to stick with my Samsung Gear S2 for now - it's the only Samsung Gear that will work with a non-Samsung phone. I never thought I should check compatibility before I bought the Blaze - I was shocked when it would only partially work. I was going to try pairing it with my work phone but at the time, even iPhone 8 wasn't on the supported device list.

I really would like to switch to something else simply for the size - but there are few options that are smaller. Smart watches just are not made for the smaller wrists of women.

I thought it was just me. My old surge would work without problems, the blaze isn't syncing unless i do a bunch of **ahem**. Smh. V20 phone.

By the time Fitbit gets around to making these current devices compatible with the Blaze or whatever other tracker the owners have, we will have upgraded to a newer model phone.

Get with the program Fitbit.  All I have right now is a VERY expensive pedometer!  This is NOT what I signed up for when I purchased my blaze.

The problem is not with the Blaze @Football_mom but with the App on one or more devices sick as phones or computers.

With the last update I'm finding that I have to log out of the Fitbit app or delete the Fitbit data, and occasionally have to uninstall the Fitbit app and install a fresh copy.
