Blaze not tracking steps

I notice that when I am shopping with a cart that my Blaze doesn't track my steps.  Frustrating.

That's the way all wrist models are. It needs to see the arms swinging.

 

You can put it in your pocket but it wont be accurate.

 

I generally park the cart at the top of the aisle and walk down the aisle to get what I need.

First day using this device and it did the same to me.

Thats because the tracker is miunted to the arm, looking at arm motions. Holding onto the cart keeps the arm from swinging naturally. 

Do a search, remember your not the first person with a fitbit, there are several threads in the past about this. Many discuss what works for them.
