Blaze notifications

My fitbit blaze is constantly asking if I want notifications on or off. I do not and never have had notifications on. The screen is constantly lighting up and my battery life is reduced to half a day, if I'm lucky. Have tried to reset but nothing. Almost ready to bin the thing.....am using iPhone 6Splus and my app is up to date....

Is it really the Blaze tracker asking you to turn on notifacations, it  or is it the Fitbit app? It probably is asking to turn on the notification services, not notifications, since this service is needed to use the connected gps, so this might be why the app is asking. You may turn off the gps option in the list of individual exercises.

Hi Rich and thanks for your reply.

It's the tracker that is asking for Notifications on or off. GPS is not on in any excercise
