Blaze reverts default stride vs custom stride length

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So, my Blaze on some days seems to be reverting to the default stride length of 25.5 inches based on my height. On other days, it seems to be using my custom stride length of 30 inches. (I take very long strides for someone who's 5'2".)

eg

Here the inches per stride is 25.5. This is toay. Here the inches per stride is 25.5. This is toay.

Here inches per stride is 29. This is yesterday. Here inches per stride is 29. This is yesterday.

Has anyone else had this issue? It's been going on for about a week or two. I have already tried restarting my Blaze.

Hi there @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

I would say this is not something with the tracker but with the app directly. Have you tried to log out and log back in and after that, see what's the stride lenght and save the correct one and after that sync your tracker. See if it keeps the correct stride lenght after that.

Let me know how it goes!

I tried that and waited to see what was going to happen. Here are this morning's numbers. It's 26 inches per stride currently.

Hi there @SunsetRunner. Thanks for getting back!

My question would be... after logging out and back in to your app did the stride lenght stay the same or did it change?

When I logged out and logged back in, the stride length entered under stride length did not change. This is what it was before and after logging out and back in.

However, when I ran yesterday on the treadmill (using the treadmill exercise tracking), the strides lengths were fairly close to my mileage according to the treadmill.
