To add to @WendyB's excellent advise of restarting your tracker, I would like to explain how to do this.
You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. After that, see if it makes any difference.

I'm having this issue too and I just did a chat with Customer Service and they informed me that I can get 25% off of another product as that is my only option since i'm well outside my year warranty period.
I am so disappointed that there isn't another way to reboot/force quit/shutdown this $250 Blaze! Looks like I am leaving the FitBit world.
