Blaze screen

Can any one tell me if the blaze has a sensor on the front or if im having an issue with my screen as there is a tiny square that shows on the side of the screen, just want to know if its meant to be like this or if my screen is broken?

The tiny square is normal.  It is a light sensor so the screen can adjust brightness.
