Blaze setup internal server error

Anyone else having issues setting up their blaze? Every time I try and set it up it comes up with internal server error 500 😩

This inconvenience might happen sometimes but it is easy to fix, you just need to restart your Blaze, your phone and try the setup procedure one more time. Please confirm you are doing the following to paired your trackers:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.

Oh believe me, I did that a million times. I tried every possible way (with and without wifi), restarted a many times deleting every single BT device. Paring directly through the app, restoring my phone to factory. I wish I knew what was exactly the problem but Luckily it's working now. I guess the IOS update or my old account being completely closed after a 24hr request did the fix.

I had to replace my Blaze with another new one. I'm trying to set it up but when I follow the directions and type in the 4 digit number it provided I get an error 400 and it will not set up.

Those are great news @Jochdrums, I am glad to hear that your tracker is now working. If you need anything else do not hesitate in posting it. Now @JDM-AL, welcome to the Community, regarding to the 400 error, if you are using an iOS, Android, Windows 10, or Windows Phone app to set up your tracker, please update your app to the latest version. Then, attempt setup again.

Did you get your Blaze working?  I bought mine from someone who never used it.  I am continually getting the 500 error code.  Any help? I can't send it back.

Ivy daughter gave me her Blaze after deleting her info. I have an Alta that I have deleted off my phone. I keep getting the 500 error code after numerous attempts during the day. Both phone and Blaze have been cut off and on..what’s next

So got the Fitbit blaze from my daughter in law. She did forget device and deleted app. That was four days ago. Trying to sync last night and getting a 500 error
