Blaze step count not accurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Prior to the firmware update the blaze was accurate. I could walk and count steps and it was right on. Now I I a third to half of the steps. I can watch the steps go up. At first I thought it was just slow to update on the blaze screen but have watched for a few days now and that is not the problem. Really frustrating since I was so happy with accuracy. That is not pushing or holding on to anything.

A warm welcome to the Community @Tmarie81 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by. Woman Happy Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. If your Blaze is not being accurate, I recommend restarting your tracker and after the restart process, test it one more time by doing the following:

1. Put your tracker on your wrist.
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.

If the amount of steps is being really inaccurate, feel free to contact our support team, since they have the proper tools to see the information that your tracker is registering. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Wink

@AlejandraFitbit @Tmarie81 , I think the movement of hand whiling walking is also important to measure steps accurately.
