Blaze steps, heart rate and timezone issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I normally have a good idea of steps I do day to day but my Fitbit has almost doubled the number steps I normally take.

It as also inflated my resting heart rate that is also unusual for me and have a blank HR in my sleep tracking.

Now in the UK the clocks went back an hour last night and wondering if that as affected it and how can I reset it?

Thanks.

Hey @SunsetRunner, great to see you here.

I will be glad to help you with your Blaze issues.

  • Steps: If you are seeing that the amount of steps your tracker is registering is not being accurate, I recommend restarting your Blaze, see how many steps you have so far, walk 100 and tell me how many it registered.
  • Heart Rate: In this post, you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. After this, test your tracker.
  • Timezone: Keep in mind that your device needs to be constantly syncing in order to have the time updated. If the time changes in your phone, it will also change in the tracker.

Let me know if you need anything else. Smiley Happy

I restarted it last night and it seems to be back to its usual self in terms of steps.
