Hey guys!
My Blaze doesn't get notifications for my texts anymore, but it gets notifications for calls and other apps. It had died, and after I charged it up and put it back on, they haven't been coming through. I've tried to Google the issue and it appears that others have dealt with it, but I've followed other's solutions and it didn't help. I've reset my phone and Blaze several times, unpaired the Fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned off/on Bluetooth. Anyone else have this issue and hopefully got it resolved??
Oh, my phone is a Samsung s8+, if that matters!
Thanks in advance!

The latest fitbit update broke my text notifications. If you uninstall your fitbit app and install an older version it works again perfectly.
Best Answersame here... mine stopped a couple of days ago.. I have done everything you have and nothing..
hopefully someone can shed some light on this ….contemplation moving on from Fitbit to be honest.. always issues !!!!!!
I have just had a quick read of some of the other posts .. looks like a big problem for a lot of people...
hopefully they fix it before I jump onto another brand of tracker... 😞
My husband bought the blaze a bit over a week ago... He's having the same problem it worked like a dream when he first got it... Now all of a sudden notifications for texts have stopped....whats app messages are very few and far between.
I have had this same problem for over a week. It's getting very frustrating and no help with the issue. I have a S10 and now I see it's not on the compatibility list... I hope they figure this out asap. It's not ok to let everyone hang and not address the issue.
I have installed textra on hubby's phone and that works... It was recommended on another thread I was reading through... You only get one notification per person that texts you, but once you read it on your phone you get the notifications again. How that helps
Best AnswerUpdate!
So I've been dealing with the customer service who basically did nothing to fix my tracker. They said that my tracker is defective and offered me 25% off a new tracker. Not to try and fix mine or to send a replacement, like pretty much every other company I've ever dealt with would have done.So if you are still within the window to return your tracker, I'd definitely do so.
Best AnswerHahahah I cannot believe that even after telling them "if it's a problem and you guys haven't figured it out yet, just tell me that. Don't spin me in circles" and they tell me my device is defective, it's all from an update on their end 😂 what a joke of a company. Thank you for this tip, it worked like a charm.
Installing an older version of the app is the only thing that worked for me. I had to turn off automatic updates or else it would update and stop working again. Hopefully they decide to get around to fixing it soon!
Best AnswerHow can you choose older version of app??? Please explain...
Best AnswerSounds like a lot of messing around... I've known people who moved on from Fitbit & are perfectly happy.
Best AnswerOnce in a while call or msg or appt will slip through, makes me think their working on it but reinstall did nothing for me as I turned off auto updates. Been thru my settings many times. It's on their end...
