After only a little over a year of owning the FitBit Blaze, the quality of the product has significantly decreased. The battery life is about 5 hours, it takes a very long time to charge, the specifics including calories burned, HR, sleep duration, and mileage are very inaccurate (all reasons why I bought the product in the first place!). Unfortunately, I called customer services and they were unhelpful and actually extremely rude. I’m not sure if this is the standard for all FitBit devices, but at their cost they should not be breaking down after such short use, especially without any user error or damage. I’m so disappointed not only the quality of the product, but the interaction I had with the FitBit representatives 😞 If anyone has any advice in who I can contact about my Blaze that would be great! Not happy about spending money on a product that doesn’t work.

I also have this problem. I have had the Blaze for 18 months. It has worked fine without any issues. I have not changed anything, except that I retired and no longer use alarms. In the last 24 hours, I have had to charge it 4 times. It was dead again this morning. I have done all the troubleshooting, cleaned contacts, restarted, etc. Nothing helps. My only thought is that Fitbit has gotten too big and no longer cares about their customers. There is some sort of planned obsolescence so we have to buy a new one. Well, I will buy another tracker, but it won’t be a Fitbit this time. It was too expensive for this to start happening after not even 2 years.
I have had Fitbits for over 5 years, starting with the flex, then the Alta , the Blaze and the Fitbit scale. This will be my last one. I am really disappointed.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing the same thing - it is so frustrating! I find it convenient for FitBit that the watch stopped working for both of us just outside of the warranty timeframe. I too tried all the troubleshooting with no luck.
I suggest Garmin or Apple Watch for your next tracker! I’ve heard great things about both and their customer service in the case of an issue.

Funny you should say that. I have my eye on the Garmin Vivosmart. I am really disappointed with Fitbit now.
Fitbit used to have excellent customer service, but I am hearing more and more about unhappy people and their Fitbits.
