Blaze stops syncing and downloading

Recently, my blaze stopped syncing and downloading information..  It keeps track of the steps on the Blaze directly, but does not download or sync the information to either my app (on my phone) or my computer.  Unless I check if it downloads every day, several days go by with no recordings.  I typically don't find out unless I get a fitness report.

Are you saying you don't get a sync unless you open your Fitbit app and click 'Sync'? If so, open the 'phone app, go to 'Account', then click your device. Then look for 'All-Day Sync', and 'Always Connected' (at the bottom).

HTH.

Same thing happened with me.  Even when I sync I don't get all the information--last night it had me getting an hour less sleep, after a run it showed the steps but then didn't have it as an exercise even though I started and completed the exercise.

Something's off!

The same thing is happening to me.  I do an exercise and complete it, but when I sync to the phone it does now show up on my dashboard.

Hey there guys @Shildy @BJWCO @ThijsJacobs @906slb @Unojohn @spikey_richie! Great to see you all in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze trackers not syncing accurately, but let me give you a hand here!

If your tracker doesn't sync all the information unless you open up the app, you might want to turn on the All-Day sync feature as @spikey_richie says above. After enabling this option, you should be able to have your tracker to sync in the background without opening the app.

Now, if that doesn't seem to be the issue, you could try to restart your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. After that, see if your tracker syncs in the background and if your problem was that it was not syncing at all not even with the app open, try to get it to sync again and see how it goes!

Hope this helps, let me know if you guys need more help!

I am having the same problem with my blaze.  It will not sync with either of my phones or my tablet pc. I had be tried restarting device, reinstalling app, turning Bluetooth on and off. I have also toggled the all day sync. Nothing is working. Had the device coming up to a year now and this had only just started happening.

Hi,

thanks for your reply. Rebooting doesn't help unfortunately...
