It's great to see you around @RN60 and @SunsetRunner thanks for stopping by.
I would like to know if you followed our friend's recommendation and contacted our support team? Did they offer you a solution for this?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Have to agree, the site is not straight forward when dealing with warranty issues. however when you do make contact, the process is easy. You will need proof of purchase and I can remember having to upload photographs of the broken strap and watch on top of the original packaging showing the Bar Code. Try clicking on the Warranty heading in the very small writing at the bottom of the home page. My plastic strap was replaced free of charge with a nice leather one which is more comfortable and does not irritate the skin. Good luck.

Bad news and good news... My Ionic rubber strap broke loose from the metal clamp. What's worse, I bought it about Sept 2018, so it's out of warranty.
Good news: A google search for FitBit Ionic strap turned up many hits, most under $10 including shipping and handling! Check eBay, too!
