Blaze stuck on notifications screen

Ugh. Since I updated yesterday my blaze constantly keeps buzzing and showing the notifications on/off screen. Nothing helps, not turning notifications on or turning them off. I've reset the dang thing at least 20 times. I've unpaired and deleted the app. The thing won't even stay off when I manually shut it off in settings, it just keeps buzzing and returning to that same blasted screen. It drained a full battery in three hours, that's how much it's going off. While I'm sleeping, while I'm awake. Any ideas?

@janettm  Since restarting and letting battery drain have not seemed to work, have you tried setting up the Blaze again?  Maybe that will help you.
