Blaze suddenly unresponsive and screen pixelated

Everything started out good this morning with my new 2 week old blaze.  It tracked my sleep last night without any issues and started tracking my steps this morning as I was heading out the door.  Hopped in the car for a road trip and went to check the time.  All I got was a pixelated ghosting of 3 fitbit logos.

Touch screen no longer responds and it won't sync with my Droid Turbo.  The screen occasionally flashes on and off and the pixels occasionally change position.

Other than some sweat during workouts, it has not gotten wet during the last 2 weeks.

Anyone had this happen?  I've tried to get it to reset with no luck (holding left and lower right buttons).  I've attached a pic of the screen.

The linked post below has something similar and that ended up having to be replaced:

There is a suggestion in there though about both restarting and then shutting down which might be worth a try. I would also try restarting a few more times as this is known to not always work on other fitbit models.

It does look like it might need to be replaced though. If you can't do this via the store you got it from then I'm sure customer support will be able to help:

Good luck! Let us known how you get on.
