Blaze taking forever to sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got my blaze today and I am having a hard time setting it up. I have done every single troubleshooting forum and suggestion to fix my issues. My blaze is taking forever to sync, and I mean like 15+ minutes, it got up to 45 by the time I started troubleshooting and it's back up to 15 and not syncing.

I was trying to get my notifications set up so that I would actually be able to use this like I intended, and every time I go to send a "test" to my blaze it tries to sync which is taking forever. I read to delete it from my account, and I did it still didn't work. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, that didn't work. I have turned the blaze off and on, and that didn't work. This is getting really frustrating and I'm about to just give up and return it.

It's great to welcome you @Tri-taratops and thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

I would like to know if you keep having issues syncing your tracker? If you do, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post. Also, could you please tell me which phone you have? In the meantime, you can check if your phone is compatible by checking our list of compatible mobile devices.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Unfortunately this has not worked. I have a Samsung galaxy s8 and according to the agent,  I spoke with David,  they know about this issue and are working on it... Nothing I do will enable me to quickly sync or get notifications.

Same thing is happening with the sync with my blaze on Apple 7plus. I have tried doing all of the steps you mentioned above. fitbit app on my phone says that it is "looking" for the device when I try to sync. It never use to be this slow, maybe 1-2 minutes tops when I first got the fitbit. Now it doesn't sync when I sync manually. Last time my fitbit synced was over 12 hours ago and I have the settings to sync automatically.

Please correct issue! thank you!

My Blaze has been 'syncing' since the last 40 minutes and I have no idea when it will end. Should I just restart the Samsung S7? This is the first time it's taking so long to sync.

If you are on Android, try clearing cache and data under App Info > Storage. It worked for me.
