When tracking my exercise using my Blaze w/Windows10 (on my Lumia 640) the app crashes, I've tried closing the app logging out and shutting down and restarting the phone. I just isn't stable and crashes every time I try using it. Any help would be appreciated.

@Don41 are you really starting the tracking from your wrist through the Blaze, as you imply?

Or are you starting it through mobile track on the Fitbit app?

Hi, @Don41, if you are tracking this via your Blaze, using the  connected GPS feature, then this is very much a beta feature, precisely because it is unstable, as you say.  See the latest information on this issue:

"Connected GPS Issues

It seems that a number of people here have experienced issues where Connected GPS tracked runs, or even normal MobileTrack runs initiated within the app. Following some investigation it seems that these issues match previously known problems with how Windows handles background tasks. 70% or more of these failures are the result of the OS deciding that the resources are required elsewhere and killing our extended execution task. This is something we hope to address in the future with Microsoft, but don't have an immediate solution for. We continue to see if there are other improvements that we can make in the client to improve this situation."

from this thread.

However, if you are tracking using the feature entirely on your app using Mobile Run feature, then that should generally work with your phone,

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

It's the MobilRun on my phone that crashes, I've tried logging out then shutting down the phone, restarting the phone and app it still crashes after about a mile or so. When I track my exercise from the blaze it doesn't sync with my phone but seems stable (misses some steps though)

A warm welcome to the Community @Don41@Rich_Laue and @Julia_G thanks for stopping by.

First of all, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If you haven't checked if your Fitbit app is updated, I recommend this by doing the following:

  1. Tap or click the Store app.
  2. Tap or click the menu icon in the top left corner.
  3. Tap or click Downloads and updates.
  4. If your apps update automatically, check the Recent activity list to see if the Fitbit app was updated.
  5. If the Fitbit app does not appear in the Recent activity list, tap Check for updates. If the Fitbit app has an update, you’ll see it in the Available Updates list.
  6. Tap or click the download icon.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
