My Blaze is less then a year old and the battery will not hold a charge. I called customer service and they offered to replace the Blaze or I could get 50% off a new Fitbit. What they don't tell you is that the 50% offer is only on certain products. It is not on any of the new products like the Versa.
They also don't tell you that the replacement is a refurbished version and it does not have a 1 year warranty. The replacement will have the same warranty as the one that is being replaced. So, if the battery fails on the replacement you are pretty much out of luck. I was wanting to upgrade since the Blaze is having so many issues. I am very disappointed in Fitbit for the way this is being handled.

Hi @hopie2362
The warranty information is here - click to view and states that the warranty period is for 365 days from the time of original purchase, not for the time a replacement is issued.
So, looking at it from that point of view, your replacement Blaze would have the remaining time of that 365 day warranty. A newly purchased Fitbit would have a 365 day warranty.
I loved my Blaze, but it died after two years and I found the Alta HR is reliable and slimmer on my wrist. If you have a 50% off coupon, the Alta HR, or another style, is q good deal. There is a Father's Day sale going on in the Fitbit Store now.
It's all up to you in what you'd like to do, but if I was given a choice, 50% off a new device, with a full 365 day warranty, would be my preference.
You can compare these devices at the Fitbit Store and see which one had the features you prefer.
Let us know what happens.

Yes my blaze has special moments of going flat very quickly, I find turning it off and letting restart works for a while.
if you go for an alternative Fitbit don’t go for the surge I had about 6 or 7 in 2-3 years before the decided to let me swap out for a lower spec model!.

Welcome to the Community @hopie2362, @Jared52 great to see you here and @Odyssey13 thanks for stopping by.
I am sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your Blaze but it's great to hear that you received a discount to purchase a new unit. If you are interested in using that discount, I recommend taking a look at this page, where you will be able to compare all of our trackers, maybe there's one that meet your needs.
And as suggested by our friend, you can take a look at our warranty policy here.
See you around.
