Blaze will not hold charge

Turns on and looks all fine on charge then as soon as I open the case to get it it turns off no power  at all! it’s just over a year old so no warrenty!! But when you pay over £150 for something you expect it to last for a good while! Fitbit listening to any of us? Any help?
