My Fitbit blaze won't charge. I've tried different outlets and my computer, it still won't charge. Any ideas? Should I buy a new charger and try that?

I have the same problem. I've tried chargers, different electric outlets, my laptop etc. and the tracker itself is completely dead. The app however, shows the battery level as low, and appears to be tracking activity. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

YES!!!
I’m having the same issues.
I'm sitting on my bedroom floor right now trying to get it to charge. I thought it was my charger, so I got another one and still won’t charge and my battery is completely dead! Ugh!

I finally got it to work! After google and YouTube, I saw something that said First make sure your Fitbit and the charger is clean also I read it was better to plug it into a USB port such as on your computer and not into the wall. I guess that’s why it doesn’t come with a wall unit.
So after cleaning the charging unit and the Fitbit it self I plugged it into my computer and discovered my charging unit was faulty. Luckily I received a new one for Christmas and after plugging it into my computer......Success!
It’s been dead for a week now so I’m sure it will take minute to charge, at least it’s charging!

By any chance have you all set up your Blaze to your Fitbit account? If you haven't, your only indication will be a short vibration when connecting up to charge.
@jachag does it also display the message www.fitbit.com/setup?

I have the same issue. Worked great the first couple charges. I plugged it in this morning to the wall charger, didn't work. Plugged into my laptop still didn't work. Just cleaned with electronics cleaning solution, Still nothing.

I couldn't get my Blaze to charge.
I noticed that one of the pins in the charging cradle was slightly depressed when compared to the other pins.
A quick poke around & careful use of pliers to raise the subject pin back up.
Plugged into charger . . . bingo! Up & away!

Hello @Ruthie976 and @Rocket23 have you tried cleaning the contacts on the charging cable and the tracker with some isopropyl alcohol yet. Also try more than one per source like your phones charger brick if you haven't yet.

Are you within your warranty? You can get it replaced if so. Outside of that your options are replace the battery yourself which is a pain or buy something to replace the Blaze.

I ended up talking to customer support and found out my Blaze was dead.
They were very helpful and offered me a discount on a new one.
I don’t see that as much of a deal. The discount is off msrp not the sale price and whatever you get will break just as quick. Essentially you would be buying one every year.
