Blaze won't charge

Charged Blaze overnight in cradle and wall plug. Still showing single red line battery pic. Plugged into USB to charge today, same result. When I push the left button and right lower button the dead battery symbol appears, disappears, and the unit won't shut off or show the Fitbit logo. If I put it back into charger cradle it shows the Fitbit logo then goes to time screen, including the small dead battery display, and that's it.  Any ideas on how to proceed?

It's great to welcome you @DebBett.

If your Blaze isn't charging, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why isn't my battery charging? and follow the instructions provide there, also restart it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

Hi! I have looked at the article and went through the steps. The two button turn off is doing nothing :0(

Thanks Alejandra!  I did go through the recommended steps to no avail.  And I'v tried to shut down but it doesn't work as described.  When I push the left side button and the right side bottom button the red battery symbol shows for a moment and then disappears.  No matter how long I continue to hold the fitbit icon never shows up and the watch does not power down.  I'm also unable to sync.  It says "looking" but never finds the watch.

My Blaze is doing the exact same thing.  On Wed last week I was able to get  full charge and it just finally died today.  It will not charge.  I cleaned the terminals and followed all of the instructions.  Fitbit's in my experience only last one year or shortly longer.  I believe I purchased this one in June of 2017 and my previous charge was replaced under warranty, and the replacement barely made it the next year.

Please advise if this is able to be repaired or if it is time to find something else.

Having the same problem! And I just got it for my bday on July 16. So it's not old. Please help.

My Blaze won't charge either. Looked at contacts on the device and they seem pitted and unable to make contact. I had an episode with a fib and bought the Blaze to monitor heart rate. Can provide picture of needed. Please advise.

It appears fitbit only responds to new threads - not comments in other threads of the same issue.  I am going to copy my comments to a new thread to get a response.
