ive seen lots of other users claiming the same issues so it’s clearly a design fault. Before I go and buy an Apple Watch is this actually fixable? Thanks.

@Reece_ I'm slightly reluctant to reply to people perpetuating silly conspiracy theories. FWIW, all Apple products are significantly harder to repair than Fitbits. If you'd used less than 99% isopropyl when cleaning your battery contacts you may cause more problems than you were hoping to fix. Hopefully, you'd used the 99%? You'd also not shared what proceeded this. What's happened between the past two years and this week? Was it charging perfectly until Sunday, then when you charged it didn't? Unable to comment on or speculate whether they're physically damaged as you'd not shared any photos along with your posting. I had one stop charging but in this instance, it hadn't been turned on in a long time, so I bought a new battery from Amazon:

Well thank you for what is essentially a pointless reply. There is no conspiracy if you look among the archives you will see numerous users complaining about the same issue I am having. The gold circular charging components are damaged, and this particular device has not been charged in over 6 months neither has my partners. Hers is good to go mine is not due to the damage. I guess you get what you pay for, I’m buying an Apple Watch as like their phones they may be harder to replace parts but are a far superior product. Thanks for your input.

@Reece_ you shared a few challenges, and asked if this is "actually fixable". I'm the only person to take the time to respond to your queries, and you're rudely calling my questions useless instead of simply responding to them, allowing me or others to possibly assist. That's not helpful to anyone, especially yourself.
Don't be a jerk 🙄
I'd provided you information on getting a replacement battery, perhaps that's a route you're interested in persuing? For $6 I'd say it's worth attempting.
Saying something is a design fault, without explaining the thought process behind your theory does sound silly, perhaps consider enlightening me with your views, and perhaps I'll see things from your perspective.
You'd not replied regarding the type of cleaning solution used, nor shared photos of the potential physical issues. I'm happy to look at this with you and see if we may be able to figure out together what's happening so you can fix your Blaze.
What Fitbit have you been using the past 6 months while your Blaze has had these problems?
Yes, many people like Apple, I've never been a fan. My friend Brian wears a Fitbit and an Apple watch, it's a bit odd but he loves the Fitbit challenges and I'm happy he's still on them, and he gets to have all the features he enjoys, the best of both worlds. Why do you feel they're superior? I'm not arguing, I'm curious to learn.

Hi I also have had my Blaze about 2 years the only problem prior to not working was it not syncing after it ran out and was recharged. Yesterday I had 3/4 battery life midday and when I went to bed it was on the aqua dotted star. I thought maybe the battery was dead have tried several plugs all have the same issue, won’t charge. Now I don’t even get the star I took a small toothbrush and brushed all contacts still no luck. Is this a goner or is it salvageable?
