Blaze won't connect to my iphone

I had my blaze for over a year. I haven't been using it for a couple months. I want to start use it again.

I charge it overnight last night.

I tried to connect it back to my phone, but it won't.

I have a iphone 6+, updated to iOS 11. I have the Fitbit app installed when I got the blaze. I alway updated all my apps.

My phone just won't find it via bluetooth.

The connecting stuck at finding the device. "Make sure your tracker is charged and turned on". "Restart your tracker by pressing the left and lower-right buttons." and "Turn off Bluetooth on your mobile device, then turn on again." are the three tips on my app screen.

I tried all three, but still not able to connect.

I tried uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app, forget the device in the Bluetooth menu, but it still stucked there. I checked my phone's bluetooth page, the device is now not found by phone's bluetooth.

Meanwhile, I can be sure my phone's bluetooth works, because I have a couple other bluetooth device and they are working fine (my car, my bluetooth headset LG HBS 912, e.t.c)

Is there a glitch in the Blaze bluetooth hardware? Or can someone help?

Hey,

Is your fitbit paired with another device? If so this will stop it being found, and connected to by your phone.

A warm welcome to the Community @Johnpwhite@rhinhart and @CliffinKent thanks for stopping by.

First of all, thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourselves. If your trackers are not syncing, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post. After these steps your trackers should sync properly.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Hi. Read all the troubleshooting but still won’t connect to phone for a run. Normal syncing works fine.

Hello, my Blaze isn't always connecting to my iPhone and now it won't at all.  Been trying for the past 30 minutes.  Thanks for the post, but when I click on your 'Having trouble syncing' link it get the message access denied.

I need help. After a few years of no problems, suddenly my Blaze Will not sync with my iPhone. I deleted it as the device, but now it will not even recognize it via Bluetooth to reconnect it. I have turned my phone off and on and I have done the same with the Fitbit blaze. It does not even show up via Bluetooth on my phone. Please help.

I followed CliffKent directions earlier in the thread.  I turned off my ipad which was bogarting the bluetooth connection.  Problem solved.
