Blaze won't sync from yesterday

I walked over 6500 steps yesterday and my Fitbit notified me mid walking. I went to look at my Fitbit app and it will not sync from yesterday. It says 1400 (rounding) steps. What is going on? I've not had this issue but I've had friends who've had this issue..

When was the last time the app says the Blaze synced?

Every time I refresh it it'll sync.

Pulling the screen down should start a sync process, but that doesn't answer the question of how long ago does the app say that the Blaze synced? Sorry
