Blaze won't track routes with GPS on and connected to phone

Hi,

my Blaze doesn't want to track my routes even if the phone GPS is on and connected with tracker.

I tap "Exercise" on the tracker, choose "Bike"  - the tracker is Connecting to phone for a couple of seconds, then shows it is connected and says "Let's go".

I then start cyckling and after 30 minutes I arrive at home and the result is 160 metres tracked, 0 calories, no GPS track.

Still when I sync it after the cycle the app shows the starting point correctly and the finish point correctly as well with a straight line drawn between them and nothing more. As if I cycled no distance.

Anyone with this kind of trouble (the app as aupdated, Huwawei Mate 20 Lite)

My Blaze won't track routes either. My phone says that Fitbit GPS is tracking when I am walking/running and my exercises will tell me distance covered however I no longer get a map of my exercise.

Mine too! So frustrating. Did you find out why this is ?
mine is a few years old now so maybe an upgrade is due ?

No solution so far 😞

mine is a few years old as well, but this feature has never worked really, on any smartphone I've had,

even if updated.

Mine is 4 years old. Don't know why GPS failed. I have not received any
explanation. Still waiting!

hey guys,
just wanted to let you know that I have completely given up looking for a solution and explanations,

and simply switched to Versa 3.

Not exactly the move I would call the best, but well... at least I now have my trekking, running, cycling routes complete, tracked and saved.

I'm assuming everyone knows this but as only a few people mentioned phones, the Blaze only records GPS with a phone attached, unlike the Surge, Ionic, and Versas with a built-in GPS. Assuming you're using your connected phones, have y'all attempted to remove the application and reinstalling? Weirdly, this fixes many issues.

I've tried about 9 times, switched phones and deleted and paired the device again - nothing.
