Blaze won't turn on

My Blaze is little over a year old and the display stopped functioning correctly. The Fitbit symbol is distorted and the dead battery symbol is the same way. I tried to attach a picture but I can't seem to do it, not sure why. I've tried to re-sync the unit to my phone, I've tried to give it a longer charge, I've even tried to let it die completely... but it won't, to try and hard restart it. Nothing seems to be working, very frustrating after 1 year of use and the cost of a broken fitness tracker.

 

Before this started, no problems, besides sweat and maybe some light rain, the unit never got wet. I bought a protective lens cover for the screen being that I work in the fire department, I didn't want to scratch the screen while at work.

 

Any help would be great.
