Blaze won't turn on

I have my Blaze on the charger for a whole day now and it won’t do anything. The screen is still completely black and there are no green lights on the back. I have had awful luck with Fitbit as this is my third one. My first of the Blaze but I had two HR's the first time and they quit working too. Please help.

These units don't seem to last. I ran through 4 of them. That may be why they are discontinued. It probably won't be too long before that happens to the versa. Those are two of the coolest styles, because they both look like the apple watch without the apple price.Smiley Happy Their newest units look like they are going backwards in design. Another thing I liked is that you could use these with just about any android as long as the operating system was compatible. In most cases it is. Too many complaints, and not mild ones either.

A warm welcome to the Community @Sperber and @Niecy17 thanks for the feedback.

I would like to know if you have tried to restart your tracker? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know how it goes. Smiley Happy

I am having the same problem.  Black face after charging for several hours.  Will not reset while pushing left button and lower right button.  Vibrates once and then nothing.  Can the blaze be repaired or is my blaze dead.  A  reply would be nice.

My Blaze will not respond to pushing buttons or being charged. Does my Blaze need to be replaced or can it be repaired??

Oh,no. :warning: It sounds like it needs to be replaced. Once it starts misbehaving, it's a sign of more things to come. You can try to reset it by holding down the left button and right lower button at the same time for 15 seconds. That clears a lot up, sometimes. If it doesn't behave after that, You will need to ask for a replacement.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Find your receipt. Contact Fitbit support @ https://contact.fitbit.com They are great at setting things straight. They helped me out. Good luck getting back to tracking.

The left button / bottom right button reset combo worked for me as well on my elderly and apparently expired Blaze. Much appreciated.

I tried the reset. At first after going black there was a faint vibration. b
But for the last two days nothing when trying to reset. I have started to compare fitness trackers for a replacement.

@EzBoo, whenever you put your tracker to charge, are you able to see anything coming on the display?

I am thrilled. My Blaze started working. I brought up the Fitbit application on my computer & tried to reset. It worked & the Fitbit symbol appeared. The Blaze was dead & neede to be recharged. Ever since recharging it has been working just fine. 😊
