I have restarted both devices. I have removed the app and put it back on. I have restored network settings on phone. I have tried everything mentioned and it still won't update or sync. Please help!

Hello @Glamrn since their is no mention of what everything is, I am only able to start from scratch.
Rember to try and sync after each suggestion, since it most likely will be the same fix next time and would be the first to try next time.
- make sure that any device that the Blaze has synced through in the past has its BT turned off or is at least 30 feet away.
- on the phone turn off/on the phones BT
- restart phone
- do the two button restart on the Blaze
-remove the Blaze from the phones BT. setting.. Not the app.
- shut the phone down, then restart
- shut the Blaze down through its settings menu, then press any button to restart.
- try adding the device as a replacement device
