Blaze wrong distance

My Blaze records the distance covered as less than that done in comparison to my wife's Charge HR also steps are recorded just by sitting in a chair and swinging my arm, surely at the prices charged for these devices they should be accurate.

Hello @SunsetRunner your wivves Charge HR will also count steps if she waves her arm around in the correct way. In fact every tracker on the market will do this.  If the tracker is moved in a way that it thinks the movement is caused by walking, then syeps will be counted. It has no way of knowing why it is moving, it knows it is moving.

As for miles, have you checked amd set your stride yet? This is needed when the connected GPS is not being used.

Another qiestion,  where you using the connected GPS, knowing this is needed to give you an answer.

Yes I have set my stride and no I do not use GPS but when you take stride length and multiply this by number of steps, the distance recorded on the Blaze is less

Brush, the Blaze is off by 20-30% on distance/steps and we are awaiting a fix/help/anything from FitBit to address this problem.
