Bluetooth is disabled

Hello all,

I bought my Blaze almost a year ago and have generally loved it. Recently though, some issues that I thought were universal (my girlfriend dispelled my belief that the errors were uniform) have really been bothering me.

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has had similar experiences with the device before I approached customer service though.

1.) I sweat, unfortunately, more than most. That being said, when I am running I constantly have to adjust my fitbit so it can continue to monitor my heart rate. I think it has to do with how much I perspire, but I want to see if anyone else has the same issue.

2.) My fitbit is set to constantly sync with my phone, but whenever I open the app (on my phone) it says that "bluetooth is disabled." This is not the case. I have to manually refresh it 2 or 3 times before the information updates. Does anyone know a fix or has ever seen this before?

Any advice/guidance is very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Cant answer #1

#2 Having all day sync on the phone totally drains the battery on device and phone. It should start syncing as soon as you open the app anyway. So turn it off and see if it solves the Bluetooth problem.

It's great to see you around @Drewac. and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

1. Yes, sweating a lot can affect the heart rate reading since the sensor is wet. I know this might be uncomfortable, but I recommend keeping the sensor dry, while running you can dry it out or you can wear a sleeve to exercise under the Blaze.

2. If you are having syncing inconveniences, you can follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
