Brand New Blaze won't power on outside of charger

Order a Blaze from fitbit directly got it in the mail today. placed it in the charger to power on and sync and update everything runs through great. Battery shows full charge and pop it out of the charger and it wont wake up. Hit every button, swiped multipe directions. NOTHING.

Was able to set-up and connect while it was in the charging cradle but when its outside of the cradle nothing works. Little frustrating seeing as I havent even gotten to use the thing yet!

They told me to recycle mine.  If you are getting two bad ones it speaks to a Quality Control problem.  They must be sampling the output rather than doing a 100% check.  This works if the process is functioning well but this one must not be, judging from the amount of issues noted here.

My point is that the 1st 2 "pebbles", never were DEFECTIVE!!!!  The problem existed, because of the old Fitbit Flex charging information still being "stuck-within" the cyber world of my PC.  Thus, I have 2 perfectly good pebbles, that Fitbit kindly gave me to solve the problem, that we thought originally existed with the pebbles, their selves.  As far as I know these pebbles are flawless, and lying in a box going to waste.  I don't want to trash them?  My Blaze continues to fuction flawlessly!

So I'm currently having this issue. Are you saying that when the charge ends on my former Fitbit device, my Blaze will work fine?

All I know is the final solution to my charging problem with my Blaze.  As it turned-out, my old Fitbit Flex, which I had thought was COMPLETELY UNINSTALLED from my computer, still had a sort of presence there.  Once I removed all vestiges of the Flex, my Blaze powered-up, synced, and has worked flawlessly ever since.  Your problem seems similar, if not exact to, the one that I had initially with my Blaze.  Good luck - I surely hope that this helps????

What I'm saying is that when I removed all vestiges of installation of my former device, I was able to get my Blaze working perfectly, on the spot, and it's been so since. Hope that helps?  P.S. You also can't have your old device on or near your charging port, or near the new device.  It can cause interference and  problems, too.

Hi. Hope im correctly replying to FerdinandFitbit. My brand new fitbit blaze isnt working outside the charging cradle. Works just fine in it but as soon as I disconnect it from the charging unit it goes dead, without any of the buttons working or the screen. Once connected to the   charging unit it turns on immediately and it says its in full battery . Already tried restarting it and it keeps doing the same thing. Hope you can help me properly troubleshoot the issue. Thanks

Luckily I bought mine through Amazon.com. I had a new one (that worked) in

The problem with mine was so simple, that I stumbled on it accidently. I had to remove every last vestige of my former Fitbit Flex charging information/downloaded material from my computer. I mean to say, that I had to "UNINSTALL IT". That, was what was preventing my new Fitbit Blaze from being able to charge. Once I got out with the old and in with the new, it has worked perfectly ever since!!!!!

I can't think of anything to try except to sync it with your device - desktop, Bluetooth, tablet, phone, however you sync your tracker?

Great! I still love my Blaze. Once I got past that crazy charging issue, all has worked perfectly since. To reiterate, I had to "UNINSTALL" the downloaded charging material for charging my old Fitbit Flex, which I had upgraded to the Blaze from. As long as that Flex charging installation was still on my desktop, it would absolutely not allow my Blaze to take a charge.
