You could contact.fitbit.com the link can be found in the top right of. His page and under help in the app.
My question would be how long have you had it, and are you keeping it clean with a non soap cleanser. It's not going to be a burn but an irritation usually caused by an allergy or bacteria build up.
Yes I would either contact a doctor or pharmacest he could tell you if there is a non prescription cream or if a doctor is needed.

Wash yourself properly and often enough, don't use these **ahem**ing body lotions and clean the tracker regularly and you don't have these problems. I do it like this. Maybe my skin is a bit dry, but since I left that **ahem** with any lotions etc. long time ago I never had problems again.

Yes it is true that I don't currently have a problem with the band
But as someone who has been dealing with exzema for the last 6+ years, having had periods that my whole arm and hands where raw from contact dermititus, which is probably what your experiancing, and was a recurring problem over a 15 year period.,  I can say that I know something considering that every dermatologist told me I would be fighting this the rest of my life. my last fight was 15 years ago
