Hi there,
i just bought my fitbit blaze and filled in my statistics (length, weight and age).
the app says that my calorie intake should be at 2500.
Will your calorie intake change by the amount of movement you have?
i know that, to stay on the same weight, it should be at somewhere between 3500 and 4000 calories, working out several times a week.
should I manually adjust my calories or just let the app do its work?

Hi there @SunsetRunner. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
If you've not set a food plan for losing weight for example, yes, your calorie intake has adjusted and will adjust according to your personal information. Now, keep in mind that when it comes to this default calories goal, it refers to burned calories, so this means that for someone your height, weight, gender, etc, that's the amount of calories you should burn a day to maintain your weight. If you're looking to lose weight, you will need to burn more calories than the ones you're consuming which is called "Calorie deficit".
If you'd like to lose weight, you can start a food plan. What this does is that lets you log your food and takes into consideration your activity to determine how many calories you have left to eat or consume everyday to achieve a weight goal. For this, on your online dashboard, you can go to the Log option at the top of your screen, click on Log and in the Food tab, scroll down until you find Food Plan and then just click on Get Started and complete the process to set up the new food plan.
Hope this helps. If you have any other question, let me know! 🙂
