My Fitbit says I burned 311 calories but the eliptical machine says I burned 661. What's going on?

What sort of answer are you looking for? Two different bits of equipment with two different sets of sensors came up with two different answers. That's about what I'd expect.

If you have a few more details of the circumstances, someone with better fitness knowledge that I may have some ideas.

See yesterday's thread for more insight.

Without knowing more details it is hard to say. Does the machine know your weight, age, and gender? How long where you on it, how much difference in distance?

A warm welcome to the Community @dumbridge@Rich_Laue and @MikeF thanks for stopping by. Woman Happy If you have questions about how your tracker measures your calories while being on a elliptical, I recommend checking this post where our friend @FerdinandFitbit is providing a good explanation about this.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Wink
