I have been using myfitnesspal and when i use my Nordictrack treadmill i have been entering calories as estimated by the treadmill (that does not know my height age or weight, just speed, incline and duration).
I recently got a blaze and the fitbit calorie adjustment is a lot higher.
For example i just logged a 5k walk 1hr on the treadmill adjusting incline to try to keep HR in fat burn zone and the blaze (treadmill exercise option) says 740 calories but the treadmill was at 400. (Note: Life finess treadmill at gym where weight and height can be input gives a higher calorie estimate but only around 80 more than my treadmill).
Why would fitbit be so much higher?
Male age 48, 5ft 10, 15st 9. BF% approx 28%
My calorie target in MFP amd Fitbit is 1840\Day. (TDEE -500)
Dalily Average calories in 1429
Calories under weekly goal. 2874
Net calories under goal for this week. 6829
Net Average is 864 .
Weekly Macros: Protein: 34% Fat: 40% Carbohydrate: 26%
Approx 1lb/Week actual loss.
Update: so the web activity log showd 445 calories but the blaze showed 740.
Fitbit calorie adjustment was 743 on MFP (why higher)

I took another stroll on the treadmill 50 mins at 4.5kph
Difference in estimated calories burnt is huge. Treadmill seems to be closest to most online calculators.
Is it possible i have something set wrong .10.5 calories a min for 4.5kph walk seems excessive.
