I just got my fitbit blaze yesterday and I wore it all day and at the end of the day I put **ahem** on the charger while I was asleep. When I woke up and took it off the charger and put it on it jumped up 600 calories . Why did it do that when I didn't even have it on?

No worries @Selena3
Your tracker displays the calories you burned in rest from midnight 'till (now). When not wearing the tracker, or resting.. the calories burned in rest are used for the estimation of the calories you burned.
Your precious body constantly uses energy for survival either from eaten foods, or from internal (body fat) reserves if all energy from food is used.
