Can't add second device...

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I've had a Fitbit charge HR for several months. Purchased a Fitbit blaze and recieved it today. I'm trying to add device without deleting and losing my info from Charge. It won't find it. I've turned Bluetooth on and off. I've restarted phone. I've check the app for updates. The Fitbit screen just shows the "Fitbit.com/setup" screen. Please help.

@Aoneal  From the APP, when you do "Add Device" - what happens then?  Anything?

It goes to pick device, (I chose blaze) it shows picture of band and charger, I hit next and then it tries to find it but never does.

A couple of thoughts

Is the Blaze

Have you tried a restart of both the Blaze and the phone?

Check the troubleshooting guide out.

Rebooted device and phone. I've tried on my phone (iPhone 5s), my daughters phone (iPhone 5s) and iPad. It does the same thing. It never finds the device.

Could it have anything to do with already having a Fitbit on the account? My charge HR is still on the account. I thought I read though that you can have multiple devices.

I don't think it would have anything to do with a Fitbit on a second account, and already having a Fitbit on the account is the point of being able to add a second one.

One thought would be is to turn of the BT on every  device bit one, in the area that you have had our tried to connect this tracker to. Now use just the one with BT turned on to connect.

Restart the tracker and turn off+ on the phone/tablet, I'm not saying this is necessary but it will make sure to remove anything that might else try to interfere with the process.

It is possible that the limitation of a BT receiver is only able to connect to one host at a time is the problem.
