I'm posting on this blog as I felt I'v pestered upport enough in the past 24 hours since getting this fitbit. I'm a newbie with fitbits so bare with me. I've got it all set up, phone is connected to bluetooth, I can receive messages and everything on my blaze. However I was cycling earlier and when I went to start the 'bike' option, it said it couldn't find my phone, despite it being right next to it and blaze classic being connected via bluetooth. I found this frustrating as I couldn't see how far I had travelled, and also couldn't control the music on my phone (I've got a HTC), whilst cycling, eventhough I could whilst I wasn't cycling. Help please!

Welcome to the Community @seanosborn. Fitbit Surge is the only Fitbit tracker with built-in GPS. Fitbit Blaze can provide GPS tracking also, but only in conjunction with your nearby mobile device (known as connected GPS). For instructions on using Blaze to track exercise without GPS, see This Article.
If you need further information, let me know.
