Hi everyone
I'm having some trouble getting the Blaze to connect to my phones fitbit app to track a run. I'm using an HTC One M8 with all the current Android updates.
I will have the app open but my watch always says Check Fitbit App.
Is there a setting somewhere I missed? Does anyone have a step by step for using this feature?
Thanks

Take a look at this page in the manual:

That does not work for mapping. I need to go to the fitbit app on the phone, select exercise and then hit the gear icon to have it find gps. Problem is it only has run, walk or hike as exercises. Biking is not there. I'm going to try again biking this morning to see if I can get a map and gps stuff so I can import into Strava.
I hope it works so I can report success.
Edit: It does not work. When I looked at the watch during and after the ride I could have sworn that I saw a distance that corresponded to my Strava app. Upon syncing it was gone and only HR and the useless calorie burn count remained. Oh wait.. it recorded the bike ride twice. Once with distance, once without. Weird. Nonetheless, no map on either.

You should not have to go to the app to get the mapping. It will show on the app after you sync and finished your workout.
The operative word here is "should". However, it does not work. I was able to get the map on my Strava app no problem but the Fitbit did not record any distance or map. HR was pretty accurate I believe. I can't accept that if Strava was using my GPS that another app could not. I can strava and use maps concurrently so I'm at a loss as to what is going on. Something is major wrong and needs to be fixed.

@Ba-lake Make sure you have location services on under phone settings as well. My husband got that error and that was his issue.
Hope that helps!

toggle did not take when I turned it on before. When I realized this and
turned it back on, the app and the Blaze hooked right up.. Chalk this one
up to operator error..
