Can't see battery icon when putting to charge

Battery icon doesn't show on screen after plugging in to USB port. I can't tell if it's charging.

Until the setup process is complete the fitbit will only show the setup message. Give it an hour or so on charge and the go through the setup. You can then complete the charge and will see the charging status on the screen.
