I'm not sure when I first got the cardio fitness score on my app, thinking around April maybe? Anyway, at the time, it said my score was 38-42 I think. The 3 weeks prior approximately 21K steps daily, resting HR about 56 and weight at 219. The score would gradually improve to around 46-50 until last week. It dropped down to 36 and said it is now very good, previously it was excellent. At the time it dropped last week, I was averaging almost 34K in steps, an increase of 13K daily, resting heart rate of 49, and weight of 189, loss of 30 pounds. Also, beginning of April, my BP was around 130/70 now it is regularly around 110/65. I just don't see how my fitness score could drop 14 points when my health is improving. What could have caused this change? I'm 61 and height of 6'0" if that matters.

Thanks for stopping by @dbalge! With the latest Blaze's firmware version update (Version 17.8.401.3) the Cardio Fitness feature was introduced. Your cardio fitness score, Fitbit's estimate of your VO2 Max, is an indicator of overall fitness that can help predict performance for endurance-based activities including running, biking, and swimming (source).
Your cardio fitness score is determined by your resting heart rate, age, gender, weight, and other personal information. For best results, make sure your weight is correct in your Fitbit profile. Also, wear your tracker to sleep for a better resting heart rate estimate. Your cardio fitness score will be shown as a range unless you use GPS for runs.
Also, please keep in mind that Fitbit provides information about behaviors but, it does not provide scientific or medical data. For an overall cardiological health examination, consult your cardiologist.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!
