Hi

Wondering if I should change to the Blaze after one year with my Surge .

Fitbit Moderators would it be a significant upgrade

Also why the delay of 2 months to make it available ?

Should have been much faster.

No, the feature set is very much the same other than the colour display and the Fitstar integration. As ever, it depends what you're looking for.

There is no delay. It was announced at CES. I imagine they could have waited a month for the announcement to align it with the release but then they'd have missed the bigger publicity opportunity. It's all a balancing act.

Blaze also offers calendar notification.  Something I really miss on my Surge.

Oh yes, good catch. As a Windows Phone user, notifications isn't something I have available to me so I tend to overlook those.

@GandhiWe offer users a wide breadth of devices spanning styles, form factors and price points from
to fit your varying needs and lifestyle. I don't feel right saying it's an upgrade or downgrade as what fits your lifestyle may not fit someone else's. In order to compare our trackers and see what better suits you, I suggest checking them all out here.
