Charge HR vs Blaze - GPS

Can anyone help - I am considering upgrading to the blaze - one issue that I have at the moment with using the charge HR is that if I track my run using the fitbit app & the zen labs half marathon trainer app - when the fitbit app tells me my mileage some how the zen labs app pauses, this means I can be jogging or walking loger than intended (not a bad thing but it means that I have over trained as been running further than I should right now & its caused shinsplints) - I need to use the zen labs app to help with my training but I also want to check my time, distance & split pace by using fitbit as the zen labs app doesnt do this.

Would you know if using the GPS via the Blaze & not the app (I have been told that this is something that you can do, please correct me if thats wrong!) if it will allow me to continue using the zen labs training app without it pausing?  I dont want to spend out extra money on something if its not going to allow me to use the training app along side the fitbit app! Thanks Sue

Yes the Blaze can make a map and report miles, using the connected GPS.

Since the Blaze does the reporting, by vibrating the arm l, it should not affect Zen Labs.

Your issue is not with the Charge HR but the app, for now you might want to turn the cues off in the app.

Thank you. I realise it's the app that I have the issues with. I have turned of the cues as suggested. I don't know why I didn't think of that!! Am sure that will work and I will now look forward to upgrading!
