I bought the Fitbit blaze this morning, plugged in in the car to charge and set up worked fine, plugged it in the wall at home and it now doesn’t seem to be charging. Tried restarting it but doesn’t seem to work. If I unplug it the screen goes dark. Any help?

I would take it back to where ever you bought it and exchange it.
Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
