Hi everyone, Thanks for the previous posts. I experienced the "insufficient battery to update" and Based on the previous posts I was able figure out that for the setup/add new device, even though the Blaze states it doesn't have enough charge, and shows the setup screen, after it states it cannot do the update; place the Blaze correctly in the charging cradle, and just keep accepting/proceed and push through and continue setting the device up by going though the training screens, this allowed me to finish and finally update the device! And now it shows the battery charging after it's been successful updated and connected to the app, and is fully charged after two hours. Fitbit hope you update the installation software or provide more charge on the new devices prior to shipping the product - soon, all the posts previously were from a few a years ago, and I'm still experiencing the same issues in 2017.
Good luck Fitbit friends!

I just purchased my Blaze last night. Screen is stuck at the "Today" mode, no swiping or pushing of buttons affects it and I never can get the display to show the battery at all. I've been getting the low battery notification. I'm not even sure the charging activity is working at all! Very frustrating. Trying to get it all pushed to Apple iPhone 7. Suggestions?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @doc_fcr! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker not working properly 😕
There are a couple of things you can try to get your tracker to work properly. The first one would be restarting it. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. If that doesn't work, you can also try to change the clock face to any other on the Fitbit app, after doing this, get your tracker to sync and see if this helps, once you can swipe again, you can choose the clock face you had before.
The restart should help in case there's any glitch for the tracker not showing the battery indicator or it not charging properly but if after doing this you still notice your tracker not working as it should, you can let me know to see what else could be going on.
