I recently recieved a Blaze today, and unfortunately I cannot seem to get it to work properly. First off, it does not seem to be charging at all. I used every usb port on my computer and am currently trying to use a battery pack. I know that power was being sent to it through my computer since it reacted to being plugged in, by turning the screen on, and the computer recognized a new usb device.
Due to the low power, the Blaze wont let me update the device. So I am stuck on the startup screen which only shows the logo and fitbit.com/setup underneath it.
If anyone can help me to get my Fitbit up and running that would be greatly appreciated.

Best AnswerCharge it for 2 hours and then try it again. You have to do the setup with the app.

Best AnswerI've had the same issue today. I removed the app off my phone and plugged the device into a wall charger and left it to charge for about four hours. There was no battery sign just the fitbit setup screen whilst it was charging.
When I went back to it four hours later I really installed the app and went to add device and it started working straight away.
Try what I have.....I honestly thought I was going to have to send it back. I think it just needs a huge charge before it starts the firmware updates just like mobile phones do.
