Brand new blaze received yesterday.
Went to setup. Couldn't update, battery too low. Left it on the charger, went to Costco. {at least 2 hours} Came home. Tried to update, battery still too low.
Came on here saw lots of the same issue, moved the blaze from one port on the computer to another, after resetting it. Left it alone, for at least 3 hours, still when update power is too low.
Realized fitbit closed 20 mins ago. Decided to switch it to the final port on computer. I think fitbit is now dead. I can't get it to reset or a screen to come on at all. It's been at least 7 hours plugged into the 3rd port.
I never felt the fitbit vibrate while plugged it but I could hear the computer recognize it every time I plugged in the docking station. Make sure contacts were clean.
I am coming from a jawbone, this issue is enough of a problem to switch back.
I now have it plugged into a power pack into the wall from my husbands Samsung watch. Instead of seeing the fitbit.com/setup screen only if it's plugged in I can see the fitbit logo.
Any suggestions before I lose the $50 restocking fee. And switch.

Hi there @Sullivansspark. Grea to see you in the Fitbit Community! 😄
I'm sorry you were having problems setting up your tracker 😕
Whenever you put your tracker to charge and you have not set it up yet, it will not show the battery charging icon on the display. I'd say that putting it to charge using the power pack of your husband on the wall should help. Leave it there for about 1 hour and after that, take it out of the charger, go to the Account section at the bottom right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Let me know if you still need more help with this!

I've had it on the wall charger for about 3 hours {give or take a few minutes} I have a screen again, however it now doesn't even say Fitbit.com/setup it is just the fitbit logo. I tried taking it out of the dock and the screen went blank, couldn't even reset it. Tried to update again while it is still plugged in, still low battery. I'll end up taking the whole think dock, wall charge to work maybe it needs a full 8 hours of charge.
