Is there a way to keep the clock face on continuously? I don't want it to go dark.

No, sorry @Poetry, no such feature as yet - be sure to join the other 489 folks that are endorsing the option in the feature request section 🙂 the more popular, the better the opportunity to have the engineers take a look at incorporating it.
