I'm not sure whether it's the software update or the phone itself. I'm currently using Google Pixel as my daily driver. Each time I tried connecting the GPS on my phone with my Blaze (using Hike or Running exercise), the error on my Blaze shown as 'Check Fitbit App'. I have contacted Fitbit Support and follow their instructions. I had turned off my phone, restarted it, reinstalled my Fitbit App and restarted my Blaze but none of it works.
I would really appreciate if any one of you guys have a solution for this. The Fitbit team are looking into this but I'm not sure how it's gonna take for them to solve it.
Looking forward to your comment

I've seen that this is happening with quite a few people...
but this may work for you if you aren't already doing it: you may have to keep the app open on your phone while starting the exercise and while doing the exercises, either app open and phone locked or app open in the background while your doing other stuff... I hope this works for you!

The Fitbit app is running in the background. That's the only way to get Blaze connected to the phone GPS. I had no issue with my iPhone previously. Now with Pixel, I can't use any connected GPS activities at all. Tried so many things but the same issue occurs.
